Often a country or a region may suffer a reduced harvest but is able to obtain good as part of the global food supply system.
But when the whole of Europe is affected, and similar issues are affecting other parts of the world, it is not too much to suggest that the system will break down, and the basic rules of economics will mean that the food that is available for export will be more expensive to secure.
The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz just compounds the problem.
